I'm currently due an upgrade but have no idea which phone to get. I've had an iPhone 4 8meg for the last 4 years which suits me fine. Anyhow, has anyone got any recommendations as to what I should get? Also I have someone interested in buying my old handset which is mint condition with all the original boxes, accessories. Plus it was new 9 months ago via an insurance claim. What should I ask for it?

Here you go mate, http://www.sellmymobile.com/

Value it here, and pick a new one up at your discretion, as ijjy says if you like iphones a new one will be out October.

TBH I've had them all. And they all suck so I'm going upgrade to a nokia 5510 it has a QWERTY keyboard and fully supports the GSM band. What more can a man want ;)

Mobile phone contracts here in Germany are so, so poo.

Most around the 20 quid mark give you 500mb of internet a month plus around 50 minutes. Scandolous.

I've managed to find one via a shop on eBay for 39,99 Euro a month for unlimited calls, unlimited SMS and 3GB of LTE 50mb internet, plus a Samsung Galaxy S5.

Best advice ever! Windows is fine if you want a feature phone, but they're specifically for people who do not use many apps. The ecosystem is totally baron.

iOS and Android both have their strengths and weaknesses, my preference is for iOS, but theres not much in it these days. If you like to tinker you'll prefer Android, if you just want a phone to use and don't want to potch around with it, then iOS has a better supported ecosystem.

You could go Sim only for a few months until the iPhone 6 comes out, you'll save your self a few bob too
