New Kettle

It's a Kelly/Volcano Kettle.

You drop twigs into the top, turn it so that the hole in the bottom is into the wind/ slightest of breezes, they go like the clappers mate and boil the water ridiculously quickly, you can even get adapters for the top to cook stuff.

Cost a fair bit though.

They look like an ace invention if you've got the capacity to carry it/work in the field. I love my Sigg stove 'cos it's ultra-light and versatile fuel-wise, but that'd be the bizz if one worked in the sticks (so to speak) :)

Say what you will about the barbaric, American solution, but at least this kettle never breaks.

And it's heated through natural gas that we get cheaply via fracking. Which poisons our drinking water. Which we then put in the kettle. But at least you can heat it up on the cheap!

Electric kettles are where it's at. So much faster. Believe me, you won't regret it.
