New Hyundai suicide advert

I think it should be said that anyone who has been affected by suicide in the manner depicted is going to be extremely disturbed by that video. There's many better ways of advertising the product than that.
 

Erm.. almost more tasteless than Top Gear's fake Volkswagen funeral advert, and that was meant to be tasteless.

The technology behind those cars is pretty neat though.

Marketing should make you want to buy the product. This does not.

Disgusting. Utterly sick, as someone who's been affected by suicide, my uncle OD'd a couple of years ago, I don't see why it's necessary to go with this idea, but I suppose we are talking about it which is what they want I guess.

Yes and no. We are talking about it but are we going to buy a Hyundai because of it?!

Its the type of thing that you wonder how there wasn't someone in the meeting saying "how the hell can you think this is a good idea?!"

Kind of the same thing as the Dettol no touch handwash system - how did no one speak up about that in the meeting when it was suggested - its pointless!!!!!
 
To be fair to Hyundai they said they just commissioned the ad and the marketing company put it out there.

Love how people are getting paid good money to make this s***e though, while there are so many unemployed.
