Done want Woods back we had loads of young goalkeepers under him and none made the grade.
Things haven't changed much , we had 10 or 11 young GKs last season , lost count at times. We've let two go but are looking at getting another 18 yearl old in from Oldham. Bizarre , it's like we collect them .

I don't think people realised how perilous our GK situation was when Howard was injured . We had Stanek on our bench who previously couldn't even get onto the U 21s bench, yet was an injury warm up in practice to Robles away from playing in the PL. Subsequently he's one of the two we let go.

While we need a GK coach , we also need another experienced GK , then the new coach should start to sort out who is likely to make it and who isn't and concentrate on 2 or 3 youngsters instead of this scattergun approach.

My heart says Big Nev. My head wants the best candidate possible and I trust Koeman to select a good coach.

david watson would have obviously been first choice, so i still remain hopeful it'll be him.

If not i'm sure it'll be someone who has a very good reputation.
