Already sparked a firestorm with my first thread, so maybe I'll get some calmer responses here.

I started supporting Everton many years ago. Had a friend who wanted me to get into EPL soccer with him. I needed a team to follow to help me get into it, he told me all about the clubs, and I liked what I heard about Everton. Plus, the wizard tower on the crest looked sweet. It didn't take me long to discover the passionate supporters and rich history, and I quickly fell in love. Everton reminded me a lot of my American football team back home, so I was all in.

Hope to get to know everyone and connect (with hopefully less volatility) down the road.
