Wouldn't say it is, especially in terms of mobile where Xenforo wins hands down.

vBulletin has been stale for years, XenForo is much more in line with forum requirements for 2014.

Sadly mate, vBulletin is dead. I say sadly as a customer since 2007 - I didn't want to leave them, massive ball ache. The acquisition (sell out) destroyed them. I won't preach all the reasons why they're dead but just take a look at their forum and compare it to XenForos by way of activity. The developers have abandoned vB for good cause.
