...it’s only a matter of time before everybody uses electric cars and the infrastructure will change to accommodate it.
Lols. This particular car is apprently gonna cost ~£100k, so pretty sure whomever buys one can afford to replace the tyres!!![]()

Reading through the blathering justification for "mould breaking" ruddy awkwardness, I think this will bomb because of the choice of none standard wheel size. Proprietary tyres will be ludicrously expensive. Thinking motorists won't touch it and they'll get the kind of reputation citroen git where it costs over 500 labour to replace a headlamp bulb. Major mistake in my opinion - they need to change that.
Would you want one?
Sure Mother Nature herself is lining up to thank you for your selfless dedication to the preservation of our planet!!I’ll continue to support the environment by keeping my old cars on the road rather than having a new one built.
Yeah I understand that - but it's just needless penny pinching when proprietary stuff is needed for a wear and tear item. Never get why Apple users are content with a £10 USB lead that is made marginally different from a £2 industry standard. Perhaps it's part if what makes them feel special.Lols. Tbh I buy their justification, so don't see it that way. Also, they have a supplier, which suggests to me that they won't make any money out of new tyre sales?Plus there's always cheaper 'knock offs' - you can buy a £2 cable that does the same as Apple's £10 if you like. Plus this is bleeding edge stuff, maybe in years to come this will become the default format for car tyres.Yeah I understand that - but it's just needless penny pinching when proprietary stuff is needed for a wear and tear item.
