God help us. Listen to the blurb for it:

"New sitcom starring Will Mellor as a man who reluctantly takes over his father's painting and decorating business.

When Tony has to take unplanned retirement following a heart attack, he is not convinced that his son, Ollie, is equipped for the world of painting and decorating. Ollie's background is in the more refined world of catering - he has always dreamed of having his own restaurant, not a white Ford Transit. But, with no other options available to father or son, Ollie agrees to take time out from his plans to run a luxury eatery to hold the fort at his dad's business. The series profiles an underdog trying to scratch a living for his father while hurdling an onslaught of chaotic situations, which tempt him to flee in his van."

Sounds like a winner to me. I'm guessing we're in for an Ooop North version of this cheeky chappie:

It'll be car crash TV and, therefore, very much worth tuning in for.

It'll defo be that level.

He's a Northerner though so i'm expecting: "aye up love, I said 'where d'you want me to put me finished Dulux' not me finished...."(guffaw canned laughter).

People on benefits will probably find it funny whilst drinking Skol.

I reckon it'll be an equal opportunity disaster zone - the whole nation will be peeking at this one from behind the couch.

The premise does put me in mind of those 70s and 80s rubbish 'comedies'. It has huge potential for stereotyping.

To be honest, I'm not a Skol-swigging English redneck, and I quite liked Two Pints for the first few seasons. Mostly because that Sheridan Smith was deceptively fit, but also because it was half decent.

So whilst this is likely to be utter cack, I'll keep an open mind until it's proven to be utter cack.

Its taken me 25 ears to rid myself of the mental scars regarding brush strokes..

Jesus TV has clue has it .
