New Car - well Truck

So I'm getting myself a Pick Up Truck (being an adopted Texan - it's the only way to go).
I'm getting the Tundra.
My decision is Double Cab v Crew Max.
I've been approved etc... this morning and am going back to the dealership at 3:30pm to pick one out.
Any suggestions lids??

I like the Crew Max cos there's tons of room in the back, BUT the bed in the pick up is bigger in the Double Cab (which still has plenty of room in the back). In the Crew Max - the rear seats recline, in the Double Cab they don't.

I have a job which means I take clients out sometimes, so room in the back is a consideration but not the deciding factor.

Leather interior v Cloth??? I've looked at both and prefer the Leather, but it's Houston so the seats will get bloody hot in the summer.

God - I dunno - anyone got a pick up and got any advice???

Oh finally - it's either a 4.6ltr V6 or a 5.7 V8....I'm liking the 5.7 v8 with 381 bhp - but there's obviously better (although negligible) gas mileage on the 4.6

Oh how I'd like to complain about seats getting too hot.

its a slopy engine and transmission (as nearly all cars in the US are), dont they do the crew cab hilux in a more modern petrol unit?

It is a petrol engine - in fact both the 4.6 and 5.7 are petrols.

Have you owned a Tundra?

Take your pick, it's a Toyota so you can't go wrong...I'd stay well away from the leather though. Personally, I'd go for one of the Tacoma TRD TX Pro's or an FJ Cruiser Trails Team Edition but that's just me.

With the weight of the truck and coupled with the transmission, when even half-laden, the V6 won't even pull you out of bed in the morning. Go for the V8.

I'd go for a F-Series, personally.
