Neville's been good this season, I don't see the need to be criticising him to be honest.

Ask Gareth Bale how good he is.

I don't think anyone's really criticising him, per se. Defensively he's been sound. He's just no Maicon, tis all, and in the mid-to-long term we need to be thinking about Coleman usurping him as our first choice RB.

I think that will probably happen long term, I bet Seamus is loving playing in front of him too, it will help him.

Nothing much gets past him and you're right he is no Maicon, Bale ripped the arse out of Maicon twice lid. Bale subbed himself pretty much yesterday.

Neville is ace.

I've raised that point myself with Seamus learning from Neville. In terms of experienced premier league defenders, there's few you'd want to mentor him over Nev.

And I realised what I'd said with Maicon as soon as I'd posted it, haha! You get the point though. :P

I was made up with that Maicon gift, I started typing "there's not many who are like Maicon" before realising you'd left me an open goal. I love [Poor language removed] like that when it happens, I do it loads but strangely get away with it.

Haha. As someone who never shies away from pushing people into the holes they've buried for themselves, I'll take that one on the chin and try not to make the same mistake again!

Although you're not giving yourself enough credit there, Chico. You don't usually need an invitation to popcorn people!

Donovan and Coleman would be nice but Donovan period would be great as he can play and play well in multiple positions. Guess we're waiting until summer then?

Staggered here, in full agreement with Matt Damon.
When Neville plays, we win a lot more than we don't win. Thats a Facht.

Tbh, never hided the fact, that I'm a big admirer of Captain Pip. One of Moyes best pound for pound buys. He fully derves to be in the first team and he's also really important to the team. He's not getting any younger though, and think we would improve immensly going forward with a full back like Seamus Coleman.

Sure Coleman is doing a grea job, but think it would be even better, if we can get a genuine right winger in and turn Coleman into our right sided Baines. Let's admit Coleman/Donovan looked damn sexy on paper.

Ding ding! And I know there was a whole argument on dropping Neville or not - that's not going to happen now, but the more prepared we get for it, the better. He will eventually fade, and it would be great to have a side that's all about pace and be ready for that by scoping out players now.

So as for my requests: another winger - could be a replacement for Pienaar and a backup for Coleman. Remember, Seamus potentially wasn't going to start this week (which would have sucked, sucked, sucked). If Pienaar isn't going, then forget it and buy in the summer (LD!).

Also, I'd like another forward to buck up our roster for at least 12 weeks. I do not trust Saha to continue to bang in goals.

Another position I'd consider getting someone to add depth is for Heitinga in case of Jags injury - which he's had a lot of of late.

I don't know who in these positions for now opposed to later, but I'm sure Moyes does.
