New £1 Coin and my Mum.

You know the new coin? The one with 12 sides?

Well apparently 50 were minted with the date as 2016.

50. Out of about gazillions that have 2017 on.

In Sainsburys yesterday, my Mum was given TWO 2016 minted ones in her change. Gave them to my niece and nephew at lunch today.

By the end of the meal, we had seen an E Bay auction for one get to £22.00

Worst thread ever, but Im bored.

What?! I got 5 of these in the post office a few weeks ago, assumed they were all minted in 2016 so thought nothing of it. Gahhh!

Apparently only 50. My Mum and Dad visited the Royal Mint in Wales the other day, and were told that.

But already GOT has 5 of them it seems. So 10% of the global run on one football forum thread makes that look unlikely!
 
my mate got one, didn't even realise, just posted a pic of it on facebook where someone commented saying some were going for £250, so he had a gander and said he only saw they were going for £2 and even saw 10 on sale for £8 ha
