Phil Neville has returned to Manchester United and is reunited with David Moyes as the Barclays Premier League champions' new first team coach.

He was photographed arriving at Carrington early this morning, where he is expected to be announced as Moyes' latest backroom appointment alongside four former Everton colleagues in Chris Woods, Steve Round, Robbie Cooke and Jimmy Lumsden.

If only twice in the next 11 years he finishes outside the top 10, that's a massive achievement for a club like Man United

would laugh my tits off if they announce!

"neville is joining us as a 1st team coach but is also signing a 1 year playing contract as cover for the 1st team"

People have short memories. Neville played his heart out for the team for years. Yes he was awful in his last season but he doesn't deserve all this. Why would he turn down the chance of coaching Man Utd?

Said some things that pissed me off and I always got the feeling he didn't love the club, but he worked hard on the pitch and was the ultimate pro. Just a shame he was utter garbage in his last couple of seasons because, although he was never the best, he was a handy right back for a good while (in midfield, however...). Good luck to him.
