It has to be Neville, his leadership qualities are there. The Blackburn game shows that if you have proper leadership on the pitch nothing is impossible. Hibbert is useful but his passing can be a bit wayward and his positioning is a bit off.

Coleman for RM, I only wish we had another on the left!

Yeah...not the best example you could have used there...

Hibbert for pure defending.

Hibbert barely edges Neville on crossing.

Neville barely edges Hibbert on passing.

Hibbert for me.

This...

Are you taking the piss mate?

We were disorganised, dysfunctional and generally useless against Blackburn. Everyone looked like they were playing together for the first time.

The only reasons we didn't lose -- and lose badly -- were because Howard bailed us out, Blackburn were wasteful and the ref gifted us a pen. Nev's "leadership qualities" had nothing to do with it. In fact said qualities were not present at all.

...and this.

Neville has more nous. Hibberts one good point is when he does those full on sliding tackles. If we're honest both are little more than mediocre. Hibberts dreadful slo-mo floated crosses* means Nev gets my vote.

*league 1 standard

Simple thread, simple poll - given a choice between the two, who do you opt for?

Why no option for Coleman ?

He looks very good at right midfield BUT he should soon move back into right back -- Moyes said Coleman would be played more at right back this season.

Hibbert was picked for speed today, with Agbonlahor and N'Zogbia is their line up, they were always going to look to expose our flanks, as it stood, Hibbert allowed Coleman to push up and over Warnock thereby nullifying Agbon especially in the first half. A stronger referee would have eventually booked Warnock then it would have been a very different game.

He's a better RB than Neville really. But neither have the attacking ability of Coleman and the sooner Seamie is our RB the better.
