Good report on Newsnight last night. Kevin Toolis, an authority on the Republican movenet in ireland, suggesting that it's all part of Sinn Fein's policy to curry favour as a respectable party in the south where they're looking to become the outright majority party over the next deacde or so. They'll probably have weighed up that a lot of Nationalists in N.I. will be furious, but they'll pretty much stick with them anyway in the polls.
