Says all I want to say.

Many people find Wigan annoying, but I like that they've stuck around.

I liked them at first but they're getting a bit annoying now. I genuinely wouldn't mind if they had a larger fan base or some sort of ambition but they just don't and don't look like getting out of that rut.

also don't get me wrong, I'm more pissed at Everton than I am wigan just a bit bemused that they cant sell the tickets.

Do you know their story mate?

To be fair, they have 4 of the biggest Premier league clubs within a 60 minute drive (if that). It's not like they have a great history and lets be honest if you were a kid growing up in Wigan most would chose us, the rs, city or united.

the allocation was 32,000 so they've probably sold about 25,000 tops, bit embarrassing really.

I'm pretty sure they only entered into league football in the late seventies where they had a few hundred fans. they now get between 16 and 19 thousand. not bad in just over 30 years especially when surrounded by two major footballing cities.

Shut up you ginger ****

Can't disagree too much to be honest.

I'm proof of that point seeing as I chose Everton over County

Wigan are a team in the Prem though, which is different to County who are in the Blue Square (Although they were League One back when I started supporting Everton)

You'd think the fans would be prepared to jump on board as their local side got more successful? (Or at least come and see the local side when their team were playing away. If Everton are away and I can't get a ticket, I'll nip down to Edgeley Park on that day)
