*puts underpants on head and starts calling people Liberal Cucktards*

Honestly wasn't so long ago that there was yet to be an African American female lead in a TV show, which is shocking in it's overt racism.

I don't get it? Why is everyone angry?

Probably because of the current political climate, lots of people chomping at the bit to get offended over anything deemed "anti white". im white but will openly admit that certain demographics of white people cry over anti white racism disproportionality given how minor issue its been in a historical context (at least relative to other races)

All those people who are fed up with hearing about poor muslims, black lives matter etc... This is their time to show they are just as persecuted (they're obviously not)

The whining and moaning seems incredibly petty, but what I have noticed recently is this attitude of it being open season on white people. Is it really necessary? The battle for equality for black people is being gradually won, day by day, which is fantastic. But can't we start to just forget about skin colour altogether? It doesn't need to be a factor on anything, and anything name-checking 'white people' just seems really counter-productive to me.

Or is the only way to get true equality is by having all races face an equal number of years as a discriminated group, so everyone knows what it feels like?*

*I'm not actually proposing this as an idea btw

The sad thing is theat the anser is yes. It's impossible to know how/why someone feels unless you have been exposed to what they have been.

I don't want to know how it feels though. And I don't think I need to either. Once everyone is on an even playing field (a long time yet, but heading in the right direction) why does everyone have to have suffered in the name of equality?
