You can imagine the utter tripe that'll be. I can feel me toes curling already.

The year was 1888 and northern powerhouses Manchester united and Liverpool had been battling each other for over 12 years in unofficial leagues.

However this year saw the creation of the football league and these two founding members and giants are about to go head to head for the biggest prize in sport.

Just like an American war movie.

It'll probably describe Everton as "Young Boys Liverpool".

John Houlding will be played by Brian Blessed and he'll say lines like: "Someday I will cast off these Everton chains and unleash a force I will call "Liverpool FC" on the face of the earth".....in a VERY LOUD voice.

*sotto voice "...but no Catholics for another hundred years or so..."
