The Dualit died the other day so the missus plumped for a Nespresso. I don't buy into pre-packaged stuff like this normally, but it makes a decent brew.

Costly though. Best I've found so far is about 28p per cup. Will stick with the cafeteriere during the week I reckon.

Anyone recommend any good sites where I can buy the capsule things for cheap?

Just get them direct from nespresso website. Difference in price is pennies, but it's worth it for the quality. Plus the cheap plastic capsules have fail quite often leaving you with no brew so cost per capsule can actually be higher. Finally, the cheap ones can screw the machine up.

I used to have one.

I remember that if you go to those Nespresso shops that they'll give you a discount if you buy large quantities and the assortments. Converted; 0.20 pound.

Also since I was lazy I sometimes reused the the capsules. Also works.

Edit: Possibly the recycling was with the other one. I know it was possible in one of the two devices. Long time ago. I think it was with the other one. Scrap that.

I unknowingly had a Nespresso capsule espresso yesterday and I was pretty disappointed with it, Maybe I just didn't like that blend/roast.

I use Illy capsules. Much more limited but really good.

Lidl do pods for about 17p a go. Not as nice but nice enough.

Interesting, I'll give it a go. At that price it's got to be comparable with ground coffee.

The pods from the Aldi are sound, I think they're about £1.79 for 10
