What political party would you say your neighbours vote for, @LouReedwalkonthewildside, could explain a lot.

Since 1950 Wokingham has had just 3 MPs - all of them Tory. Labour did get over a quarter of the vote there in last year's general election, though.

Wokingham voted overwhelmingly in favour of Remain in the referendum vote, probably because those who are doing well financially don't like to change the status quo.

My brother-in-law worked for the Lib Dems in nearby Bracknell until just recently. That's the only reason that I know anything about the politics of Wokingham.

Absolut staunch Tory Wokingham is mate, and what makes it even worse, the MP for Wokingham is John Redwood!!!
