Neighbours

I grew up in Huyton, met a girl (quite posh) from Chester, moved around the country because of her job (local government) and have now lived outside of Liverpool for the last 16 years. Live in the South-East in a place called Wokingham now (quite posh, we got invited one boxing night for a mulled wine, and seriously, we were limited to one mulled wine each) one thing that really pisses me off is the neighbours. The other week (Saturday, party night) weather was great so I put the music on (put the speakers out the window in the back garden) had a belly full of ale, was chilled and having a boss time on my own, dot on 9 o'clock the door bell goes, it was all the neighbours from all the 3 houses in our cul-de-sac complaining that the noise coming from our house was inappropriate for that time of the evening (9 o'clock) I ended up just laughing and shutting the door on them, they haven't spoken to me since (which is a good thing)

This is more of a question to you lads who have moved away from Liverpool and the bellend neighbours you have had to put up with.

Ok I'll probably have given you till about 10 but I wouldn't have rounded up the rest of the neighbors. Are they all really old or is it like the wicker man there?

Me and the missus are in our very early 50's mate, the neighbours are 30's I reckon (yummy mummies, lycra ;) and all that) their BBQs on a Saturday night are finished by 8 o'clock.
