First time poster, from California. I'm going to be in Europe on the way to a conference the weekend of the Everton-Sunderland FA Cup match, so I'm diverting to Liverpool for the day. It will be my first time at Goodison Park and my first time to see Everton live.

I have no idea what seats to get or the best way to get tickets. I'll probably be bringing a business associate along from London. Will tickets sell out before they go on sale to the general public? Would it be worth it to buy an Evertonia membership just to get early access to tickets for this one match? In what section should I aim to sit?

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

business class is in the lower gwladys street end, big demand for this so i`d go the membership route. probably best for you to try the main stand - good luck mate

You should be able to get one they go on general sale on the 5th march. Either make an account on the official website or ring the box office. You can choose your seat online though it's quite cool

i recommend stumping up the 20 quid for evertonia membership and getting one now (they're already on sale to evertonia members) - considering its your first time. you should get one once they go on general sale, but no guarantees for the 'better' seats. i did this and got one right behind the goals towards the front of the upper gwladys this morning. just my humble 2 cents worth anyway.

Thanks for the quick input. I think I'm going to grab a membership. My wife pointed out that given what I spent to re-book my travel, 20 pounds is a small fee to be sure I get good tickets.

Coda: I got two tickets in the Lower Gwladys Street end (GT3 J 64 and 65). I attend lots of Galaxy games here, but I always sit in the main stand, never the supporters' sections. I hope I know what I'm getting into! Take care of me, fellow Evertonians!

You will love it, best place to be.

Couldn't have chosen a better game to be your first. You should have a great choice of seats if you get them on the first day they go on sale.

Make a membership on the Official site and book your ticket online via the Box Office were you can choose your seat.

Depending on how many Sunderland bring I'd advice you to sit in the Upper Bullens. If not the main stand.

They will take up about 2/3 of the Bullens Rd side of the ground with their allocation. You need to be on your toes as Season Ticket holders have their seat reserved until 2nd March and most will be getting them, that means what is available now is probably it, so if Evertonia members are able to buy them then there wont be many left for general sale.

Glad to hear it worked out. Trust me, you'll love it - the atmosphere in the lower gwladys is second to none. other than some colourful language occasionally, there's nothing to worry about
