Okay so that's a little exaggeration but at least I've got your attention.

Last Friday lunchtime I was in a rush to go somewhere and was late for a 2 hour drive. I hadn't had breakfast and wouldn't have time to stop on the way.

Cupboards were bare apart from some chicken gougons from a popular supermarket sitting in the fridge and a couple of Popular brand bread rolls.

Popped the chicken in the over whilst I got myself ready then whacked them in the rolls - one with a touch of mayo and one with a touch of ketchup.

First one was all fine but midway through the second (mayo) one I realised there was something hard in amongst the food. Before I engaged my brain it had then fallen to the back of my throat and I was desperately choking on what felt like a little rock.

Nearly crashed the car as I coughed for my life but pulled over on the hard shoulder and eventually spluttered out this white plastic 'cap' which would be a touch smaller in size (but same shape) as the end of a toothpaste tube.

As a good citizen I'm keen to send this off to the guilty party to try and ensure their procedures are checked and it doesn't happen again and kill a child(!).

Obviously some nice compensation for the terror and panic would be appreciated as well.

Anything like this happen to anyone on here before?

My other issue is whilst I am 99% sure the offending item was in the chicken I cannot definitely rule out it was in the bread roll. So thoughts on that please as well.

Either way I managed not to choke to death.....

A friends mom had a bottle of coke which exploded in the cupboard. She got a free bottle after spending a lot of time complaining...bet she was chuffed

I think the fact you didn't die is good though

Was she on her way to a soccer game mate?

Now we know that Dell boy is safe and not dead, can we get the bottom of something please...

It's MOM

Not mum

...maybe I've spent too much time in America

The spice girls agree with you " Mummy, I love you " does not sound right at all, would have spoiled the song completely.
