One here, I once had trial for Birmingham Bullets. I hardly play at all now though

Do you play, any good? Can you dunk, that's all I wanna know??

Who's gonna win then?

Favourite players from my era - Penny Hardaway and Kemp/Payton for their awesome alley-oops

Used to love the Bulls, still got a Pippen top =)

We all hate LeBron James. Fact

Wow thats pretty cool, i played a couple years and played on school teams but was never able to dunk lol i wish. Im really liking the BUlls this year they seem to have a good all around team built.

Fave players from years ago had to have been John Stockton, Jason Williams and of course MJ

Was Jason Williams the one who did that pass off his elbow?

Stockton and Mallone were immense. The Mail Man!!!

I used to be really into it. I could dribble and was pretty nippy, therefore 13 years ago that made you 1 of 12 people in the country that could play (slight exaggeration), so I've made myself sound a bit better than I was in my first post, ha

Lost a bit of touch with it now sadly. Orlando Magic were my initial team, but Kemp and Payton were just the best to watch. It's not shown on many channels anymore, well ones that you don't have to pay for, so hardly know many players anymore

Is this Bulls best team since the 3 peat days?

Yep thats J-Will alright. Stockton and Malone had the best chemistry between two players i had ever seen.

I used to be pretty into as well, ive been curious how big bball is over seas. It definitely seems like its expanding around the world.

I definitely dont play as much as i used/ would like to but i still enjoy it quite a bit and love to play and watch when i can. I like the magic Dwight Howard is unplayable and theyre local rivals to the heat ;) lol

This is by far the best team the Bulls have had since their championship years hopefully it results in another one. Im going to the 2nd game (y)

Ahh nice, enjoy it bro. My friend's currently over in LA, he's going to try and catch a Lakers game (no idea if he will be able to?)

Is it expensive? Or always sold out?

Let's have a moment for Jordan here, the last dunk I will always remember. The way he sells the 2 Knicks players, then dunks on Ewing is just ridiculous

For me, it got really big in the UK when Shaq came about. Jordan was on his way out I guess for the first time from memory, but they had a show on normal TV on a Saturday morning, and showed occasional games. The UK then pumped some money in making loads of courts in parks as they were trying to make it the 4th biggest sport. Don't think that ever really happened, but it certainly made it more popular. Seems to have died off a bit perhaps, but we seem to have produced quite a few decent players now!

p.s. it could just be me and you in this thread! Ha

p.p.s. I could waffle on all night in here dude, but I have plans shortly, boo!

Dang thats pretty exciting Lakers game would be fun, i would think he should be able to find tickets but for a hefty price prob.

Jordan is a legend. (Had him as my avatar for a bit lol) its amazing what he could do on the court and how he can get a brand off the court to become so popular.

Shaq was a monster on his day. It wasnt even fair it was like a tow truck backing into when he posted up. Thats interesting how the UK tried to develop it and get it to be more popular, Luol Deng reps UK and hes one of my fave players!

Haha others can feel free to join in dont be shy! Have fun with your plans and enjoy the weekend (y)

Not the best quality for the first one:

Got into the Rockets back in the day when the McDonalds championship was played (between 93 and 96) I recall Cassell, Olajuwon, and Drexler. Like so many things pay TV ate up rights to most things good to watch and so interest waned.

My said friend in the earlier post has a signed ball by Olajuwon from that ! =)

i have always cheered for Indiana Pacers

Because of Reggie Miller?

You lucky f*cker! Been a Bulls fan since the Jordan days. This is defo the best Bulls team since then, been pretty dark since those days, tho a few teams looked like they had potential..

If the Bulls do make the finals (which a lot of ppl are picking them to do now) I might have to take some time off work and fly over!

Derrick Rose for me

The kid is a monster, and still far from what he can be!!

Watched the game yesterday, and hopefully will catch mondays' too. Chicago were lucky to pull out the win!

One of my mates from my local team was an England u18 till he had to have knee surgery, and played on the Guildford Heat team a few seasons ago (with the likes of Martin Gottfried).. but the quality in the BBL nowadays is nothing compared to the mid/late 90s... UK bball authorities really screwed the pro game up over here back then :(
