Yet once again, it's somebody doing it during the tail end of their career when they're not currently actively playing - he's a free agent right now.

Which is a massive shame. The impact would be more notable if it were a player in the prime of their career, say 27 years old, who was playing for a massive team.

That said, it'll be interesting to see what team decides to pick him up after this announcement.
