What are peoples thoughts on West Ham showing the Carroll incident again on the big screen before a final decision had been made? I'm sure it was accidental but it could have potentially worked to West Hams detriment as it was clearly a foul on the keeper.

The liverpool players were incensed and pointing to the big screen behind Anthony Taylor and his assistant which was replaying the incident and clearly incriminating Carroll. Had the referee or his assistant turned around, there would have been an interesting conundrum as that would surely be considered the use of video technology.

The wrong decision was made, as far as the general consensus seem to be concerned, but I feel West Ham may well get a ticking off from the FA for that and a warning on the use of the big screen in these situations in future.

Just read that the Hammers fans attacked the Ref's car after the game, allegedly.

Keep forgetting you're a Kopite. How about an unbiased post? it may well have been a foul, but you lot have had 10+ penalties. Are you convinced all of them where genuine penalties? how about you get aggrieved about them.

What are you waffling about now? This post had little to do with Liverpool, it was about West Hams use of the big screen before a key decision had been made. This could have significantly influenced the referees decision, although it didn't (rightly or wrongly you may say) I just wanted to see what everyone thought may be the implications of the situation.

I don't think we've ever shown a controversial incident on the big screen. So you can guess when we've been robbed when they don't show the replay! I think West Ham are more guilty of treating you like Barcelona to be honest. Big Sam, tactical genius. 10 men behind the ball and rely on Kevin Nolan's speed on the counter.

This is why we not only need goal line technology but we need some sort of rugby style replay system for the ref to use. Its a joke that West Ham should be punished for showing a replay, the big screens are there for a reason.

Not arsed.
Plainly whoever was controlling the replays made a mistake but it's no big deal

Naughty hammers you say?

Funny thing is mate, most of their pens are legitimate ones, the main problem is in any game theirs probably at least 2-3 genuine penalty shouts between the teams in the average prem game, the major issue is that the rs are being given their clear pens at a much higher percentage than the rest of the league, obviously your not gonna see a couple of pens a game awarded in an average game, but atm in the rs games that's exactly what's happening
