Are we the only club that doesn't get a stadium for free? We should have tried this though
Only surprised that the RS hadn’t already suggested that they do it, especially as they’re everyone’s second favourite team.Too late, they built it at the Etihad, now koff Sir Jim you grasping manc <insert word that gets a warning from AndyC>.
Imagine. A tax exile wants to use your tax to build a stadium for his team and his bank balance so that they can beat your team who will be relegated for building their own stadium without anybody else's tax.Are we the only club that doesn't get a stadium for free? We should have tried this though
A tax exile, and for the club with the world’s biggest turnover (or there about).Imagine. A tax exile wants to use your tax to build a stadium for his team and his bank balance so that they can beat your team who will be relegated for building their own stadium without anybody else's tax.
No wonder he is a very rich man.
Oh, that kind of sensible fairness won't cut it with Jim and his ilk. He's a tax exile and Brexiter.A tax exile, and for the club with the world’s biggest turnover (or there about).
In what world do we have to pay for our own build when they don’t… that’s what I’d ask if it happens.
Totally agree.Don't need two national stadiums, this is just a ploy to get tax payers' money to cut the cost of redeveloping or replacing Old Trafford.
Surely they can afford redevelopment of Old Trafford without chasing taxpayer money, or they could get external investors on board. Compared to us, they have higher profile internationally and therefore should be able to attract somebody with deep pockets.Totally agree.
Just imagine if a club decided to undertake building a stadium from scratch using their own money.
Pure madness.
I think "Sir Jim" may also have forgotten that the FA need to pay for Wembley...Yeah sure mate, build a 'Wembley of the North' in an Industrial estate in Manchester.
