No one wants to joined the armed forces, yet we are be told we must increase defence spending ? Apart from being unable to fund it there isn’t the interest to potentially be sent to be blown to bits in Ukraine.

The political class that has systematically disenfranchised the little people, particularly the generation that you'd actually want to fight for you - couldn't possibly be surprised when the little people turn around and tell them to do one, when being asked super-nicely if they wouldn't mind dying in a frozen ditch on somebody else's battlefield.
We now have 2 and half generations of people with little to no stake in British society. A good majority of people working full-time will likely never own their own home. What about the UK for Gen Z is worth dying for?

There’s a lot of things wrong with this country but in comparison with the vast majority of countries on this planet it’s not that bad at all.
It’s a pointless debate really anyway, I doubt it’d ever happen & plenty of Gen Z have grown up quite soft.
