I'm not casting judgement over that kid btw, just my preference for not using numbers in a name.
"Sweeney's doin ninety cos they got the word to go,

They're countin out the fivers when the handcuffs lock again,
In and out of Wandsworf wiv their numbers on their names,
It's funny how their Mrs always look the bleedin same

They're Cool for Cats

I'm all for supporting evidence.

Live and let live I say.

I came across a kid (from a Caucasian family) called K8lin last month. Pronounced Caitlin.

So if it's all equal, I'll have a "made up" African-American name over K8lin any day of the week. I'm not casting judgement over that kid btw, just my preference for not using numbers in a name.

My friend's sister is a speech therapist. There was a woman in their waiting room. The reception saw the woman had written her name on the sign in form as La-A so she kept calling the name "La ah". Finally the woman stands up and informs her, "It is pronounced La Dash ah!"
