1970 WC Final nearly made my list over Big Joe's first game but there is NO better feeling than sticking it to the arrogant home county-dwelling red tw@ts no matter what the time, place or situation! That night we were already as good as down though.... That is until Joe and Dunc had their say, which made it all the sweeter!

Also we would go on to "hold" merseyside until April 1999 - I'm as optimistic as the next Berto-convert but we won't ever have an unbeaten run like that ever again I'm sure!

I'd much rather have been at the brigadiers guineas win against mill reef. 30 years before my one the Juddmonte but I still can't watch the replays. Up until very recently, he should probably have been seen as the greatest miler of all time.
