Hello everyone
I've got some really naive questions about tickets. I have always had loads of reason I haven't ever been able to go to matches in person.

- is there any chance for new first time season ticket holders to get hold of them for BMD?
- Any ideas how to manage this if it's me and 2 young children (7 and 4)
- What's the best way to introduce my kids to a match for the first time? WSL or Goodison and if so where to get seats?

Thank you!

-Season ticket waiting list is above 12k at least I believe. Those near the top have been on there for 6 or 7+ years alongside purchasing an official membership for each of those years.

-Purchase memberships for each of the people you want to attend with and join the waiting list. In the mean time your membership will give you an early entry window to purchase tickets for individual matches when they go on sale.

-There are 2 games taking place at Goodison soon for the women’s team, one of them is the derby. Check out the fixtures. The U21s play at Goodison on occasion as well. But without a membership you won’t be getting 3 tickets together for this season unless somebody offers you them or you take the chance and buy from a resale ticket vendor, but I highly wouldn’t recommend that.

At the moment we don’t know how easy or hard it is going to be to get single match day tickets at BMD as they haven’t released how many people from the waiting list will be granted a season ticket and how many other seats this will leave available.

I'm someone that lives in London so not nearby to go to games regularly (I will make around 5 a season).

Get the official membership and keep it on the renew cycle so you don't forget. Unfortunately you need to get one for whoever you're getting tickets for too so I get one for my wife aswell.

The website is naff but I usually manage to get us two tickets during the priority window for members but I usually only try for games that are against the 'lesser' sides in the league like Bournemouth, Brentford etc. so would target games like that too rather than games like the derby or against City/Arsenal/Chelsea/United etc.

I've taken my kids to the women's Merseyside Derby at Goodison, and Valencia, Sporting and Roma preseason friendlyies. Nice and easy to get tickets - and a stress-free atmosphere for little ones.

I wouldn't be surprised if as we move to BMD, we may well have several pre-season friendlies at home next summer. Tickets are sure to be in-demand for the first Everton games there, even if they are just friendlies.

For young children, I'd recommend a pair of these for the first few times they go.

Paid members on Tier 1 of the waiting list is way over 15k (unfortunately I know after years abroad and now being on the bottom of it).

The only way to try and get one in the future is pay for everyone to be members/junior members. Every year.

This is basically going to be the only way to get General admission tickets at BMD too. Some of us going to be stuck with this for many years!

Wouldn't take them to a women's match for their first (and possibly last) visit to Goodison. See who we draw in the early rounds of the FA Cup and if it's a lower division team you'll get three together and at a cheap price.

They usually stand all match in the LG so that's no good for kids of your age. Upper would be alright, or Family Enclosure or Paddock. If they like spending time with old people then the Park End is the place to be.

There's no better feeling than when you take them for the first time, walking up the steps from the concourse and seeing the look of amazement on their little faces when they see the pitch and the ground from the inside having seen it on the telly.

If you're travelling from far afield and staying for any length of time it's well worth looking into going to Finch Farm and waiting outside for photos with the players as they leave, nearly all of them will stop for a pic when they see kids waiting.

If you need a single ticket I can help out. If you want your kids to enjoy a game I would recommend the away end

I've two of a similar age. One has been to a match, but both have been to the tour just for me to say they have been to Goodison.

And their look of utter desolation 90 minutes later.

100% this. Used to share a couple of seats with my cousins in the end swapped to this method. Not bothered about sitting next to each other anymore. More about pre post beer and a catch-up. God must be getting old 😂

Do you manage to get seats together or do you have to buy tickets separately?

Together. Always pick to look for two tickets and choose the best seats available option to get it done as quick as possible. Sometimes means we are in a rubbish spot but I would rather that than miss out completely. If you have the code of your friend/partner/kids then you can add them to your network. Once added you can manage tickets for both once confirmed so one person can buy both tickets.

THanks, good tip, I'm taking them to Goodson this Sunday for the Ladies' Derby :)
