It was her brother and the parents covered it up.

Hypothetically, without prejudice, allegedly, etc etc.
Her marginalised Brother...nailed on - cue parents cover up.

Most of the evidence points at the brother. The blag ransom note combined with her being found in the house points to a cover-up and they didn't have time to get rid of the body.

One of the three did it IMO anyway.
