To be fair to Hibbert he didn't get much help this game on his flank with neither Osman nor Neville helping him out. But I do still think he is our weakest link in the defensive 4 by a mile. Baines-Lescott-Jagielka is a very, very good defensive trio, but need a fourth. Baines-Pienaar on the left function well together, but Hibbert-Osman doesn't.

A fully fit Jacobsen would be better than Hibbert in my eyes. But we need a good RB before next season start.

If you had offered me 5th place and a FA cup final at the start of the season, I would of bitten your arm off.

Ok, No winners medals for any of the guys, Moyes still awaits his first piece of silverware as manager, but come on, only ten years ago we had Wally Smith and a frankly less than impressive side, and have come on leaps and bounds.

No more last day relegation issues that's for sure.

We are now a regular in top six finshes each season, alright there was the blip of a few years ago, but more often than not Everton are there or there abouts in the European berths come end of season.

It was not to be on Saturday, but we'll be back, that's a promise.
