Our aim should be 7 wins out of 9 and this should get us 4th place, hopfully my prediction is correct.

But without a doubt we have easier run in, if we have gain as much point as we ought to be getting, then my prediction say we finish 4th the season.

What do you guys think? What is your prediction?

= 15 points at best - :)
Arsenal are hitting form now - we are due a blip or two :( 1 defeat in 18 games - all good things must pass (y) - I'm confident on finishing 5th tho !

Dude, there is no way we'll get all those points and finish fourth.

Loving the positiveness though.

Also love the positive attitude but i dont feel we will catch Arsenal. They have began to get back key players from injury and are starting to hit form at the right time. Villa on the the other hand are hitting a brick wall and could well be caught by us and victory for us at Villa Park in a few weeks could go along way to securing 5th place. At worst we will finish 6th, at best a 5th place finish is not impossible.

I aint gonna do a game by game prediction, but I reckon with Villa going backwards and our run in I feel that 5th is ours for the losing. Arsenal seem to be getting it together so its same old story with the top 4. Getting 5th would be awesome, getting 4th would be like all birthdays and Christmases coming at the same time. Its gonna take maximum effort and concentration from the boys to achieve 5th. I hope the semi final does not become too much of a distraction though. That in itself is a big ask. With Timmy back sharpish then we are gonna have Villa looking over their shoulder in a big way. COYB.(y)(y)(y)

You really do have Villa falling apart. That's relegation form and most unlikely. I think 4th is Arsenal's to lose

This thread gives an idea of what we'd need to do. I reckon we would need a minimum of 67 points to get 4th. That's 19 from our last 9 games. On paper that looks achievable, but I think we'll fall short. We've looked more laboured since Arteta got injured, most of our opponents will have something to play for, and I can see a few of these games ending up draws. The next couple of fixtures are crucial. If results go our way, we could catch Villa up by the time that we play them, and that would give the team a huge boost to push on for 4th.
