Due to work commitment and shiz, I've not made a game since city last season, my daughter will be 4 in December and im taking her to her first game, probably the Swansea.

I would like her to get her pictures taken with at least one player before the game or after, how does one go about this?

Any favours called in would be gratefully accepted.

You see loads of people waiting for them after the game where they come out by Park End/Bullens, but I don't know if they're successful at all in getting photos or anything.

This is the best way mate, before the game is decent if you have time there's not as many people waiting for them to roll in.

Hope she enjoys it mate. My first game was Everton 4 - 4 Leeds, cracker!

When I took my girlfriend to her first game she really wanted a pic with Fellaini (hahaa) but I didn't really have a clue how to manage that.

Good luck!

lovely idea Bryan, but i really would advise against taking such a young un to a night match, for a start it'll be absolutely bitter, once the wind gets in Goodison is freezing! i ummed and aaaahed at taking my 6yr old to the sheff utd game as it was a night game and although he was fine he was absolutely shattered after an hour and even though it was a mild night he was sat under the blanket i took for him!
if you're determined to, the players enter and leave the ground in the disabled entrance (or former disabled entrance) which is between the park end and the visitors section of the bullens road, players sign a few autographs on the way into the match as theyre usually thrust something to sign but ive not seen one stop for a piccie, and i couldnt tell you as theyre leaving the ground, i guess it depends on the result!
like mikey said, you're probably better off going to finch farm during the week as theyre not as overwhelmed with fans and they arent about to play/have just finished a league match so it'll be a more relaxed atmosphere.
or even write to the club on the off chance they can sort her to be toffee girl/mascot :)

Thanks all, especially you Hayee.

My Missus has said the same thing to be honest, as much as I want her to enjoy the atmosphere I think she may be a bit young too.

Hmm, finch farm..?

theres nothing stopping you taking her to a weekend fixture when the weather warms up somewhat if possible with work committments or even pre-season; thats what i did, took him to a few pre season to get used to how long a match is on for and then went for "quieter" games, now hes used to it he's fine and went the united game on my ticket with my dad, but i think if thats the first one he'd been to the noise and sheer amount of people would have scared/startled him! :)

A night is a 'mare foir the little uns mate, my 9 y.o. doesn't go and the 8pm k.o.'s mean it's a mega late home so even my 12 y.o. is knackered, and moany but then she's that all the time.

I took the lad to a tea time one in winter for the lights and all that.

Spot on Reidy, i still struggle to make it to uni the following morning!
Plus its cold and dark! i do love a good night match but in the middle of winter i dread them!!

I brought my 4 year old to his first game last january v spurs and it was a night game, fcukin freezin it was, but he was well wrapped up, and loved all of it, spent most of the game amazed at the fans shouting and singing....and we won 2-1, happy days. Im bringing him over to his 2nd game against wolves next week, we are bound to win.
