The problem is, under normal circumstances, fans would express angst at the manager. However, for some weird reason, Evertonians as a whole find it impossible to criticise Moyes.

So, instead, they just give up caring once the season is obviously dead. I didn't care last night at all. Even if we'd have won I wouldn't have really cared, as Moyes has thrown the league.

So in light of Evertons season meaning exactly nothing anymore, Evertonians are simply finding fun in football by poking fun at the neighbours.

I'm not saying it's right - but it's the direct result of what Moyes did in the derby.
