So, mushy peas.... Possibly my fav food ever.... I love em.... Problem is Los of people love them in different ways... My preference is mushies , roasties, white cabbage and gravy.... Lovely .... How do you like them ?.????

My mum moved from here a few years back with her husband (RIP) to Hinckley , just by Nuneaton...... They all laughed when she made a Sunday roast with mushy peas.... In my eyes it's a must,, roast dinner with no mushies is a poor dinner.

nice on a chippy dinner, gravy and vinegar.

they go with

pie chips and gravy

sausage chips/mashy and gravy

roast dinner. lovely with stuffing on a chicken or pork roast

fish and chips . curry optional

chips and onion gravy on its own.

use bread with all bar the roast

mushy pea's are boss.

Nothing wrong with mushy peas on a roast. @Morag's dad does this, as did her nan.

Don't mind them with my fish and chips now and again. They're not all that, like, but they're alright.
