Muscle cramps during the night though lads and ladies

If you have chosen (see nagged) into putting the tog 560 quilt on the bed because it's cold and it's winter, there's a chance you are over hot and sweating during sleep. Sweating is perspiring. And that means losing water and becoming dehydrated. Hence, vis a vis, QED, abracadabra, cramps in the night.
My Mrs insists on sleeping under a ‘weighted blanket’ (on top of the regular quilt).
It’s horrendous. Not only is it restrictive but it gets so hot it’s unbearable, but then it’s so f’ing heavy you can’t simply throw it off.

OMG last night - left foot curled up and cramped like a deformed alien foot in the night!! painful, frightening and totally out of the blue. Been taking supplements lately too!
Have you tried taking electrolytes? I live in Saudi when I first came I got terrible cramps in the night, started taking electrolytes, which cured the cramps. They only came back when a ran out.

Just a thought

Thanks I was taking them for a while but water consumption dropped when it got colder here. Not something you have to worry about in Saudi. What business are you in there? I had a few years there too in my younger days. I am sure it is much changed.
