Murder Inquiry Into NI Bloody Sunday Killings

You dont have a question to answer - it's a hypothesis..and a hypothesis designed to close off discussion. Sorry for not going along with that ruse like.

Anyway, back to your equally ignored question: your ability to say that nothing fruitful will come of this new inquiry is due to you having been part of the legal team that put together the Saville Inquiry and will now forge ahead with a murder inquiry. Yes or no?

It was not designed to close a discussion. I just don't believe that more innocents should suffer further and I was just asking if you thought that it was a price worth paying, but you still refuse to answer. I would respect whatever answer you give because that is what you believe.

In respect to your question, which is badly phrased by the way, they will no doubt find out new things (YES) and may even be able to put names forward. No one will actually be tried for murder in my opinion because the defence would end up calling GA, MM, etc etc to give evidence. You then have a situation where you have named suspects, who will be in their 70's and 80's, then what ? How does that move the peace process forward.

Apologies if I have overstressed my views during this debate, it's just that I really want peace to return to NI and see the end of any further pain and suffering. Sorry guys.....
