Sorry to hear that mate, condolences to you and your family. Hope it wasn't Covid related and you were able to spend the time with her before she passed.

No mate not Covid. She was in a nursing home since mid 2018, Got pneumonia 13 months ago, and we were preparing the funeral then. However, she made a remarkable recovery. At the end, things were just shutting down. Very peaceful.

Apologies for the late reply. But i'd just like to say im sorry to hear that, and RIP to your mum. It's extra hard burying a loved one, in these depressing covid times. But i would imagine when normality hopefully returns, that a memorial service, and the send off you originally would have liked to have had can be held.

Seconded, apologies mate, may your dear mum rest in peace.

Thanks all

10 days later a great sense of calm and peace thank God.

A few things....all good...have happened since she passed.

The day of the funeral, the Derby win.

I have been looking for an important document for weeks to no avail. One night I woke, and was just resting with my thoughts when something came into my mind to look in a particular place - not an obvious place. Next evening I remembered and I went there. Yes, I found the document!!

The other day I received the results of my award for the Theology degree that I have been studying by distance for the past 4 years.....First Class Honours!!

Keep it up Mum!!
