Not my thing, but gets undeserved abuse because it is as far away from cool as you can get. In a funny way it probably should be cool because of how little it cares about being cool.

Anyway, I'm still more of a cultural snob than I'd like to be, but one of the things that made me want to be better person in this regard was seeing an interview with Brendan O'Carroll twenty odd years ago. At the time he had a similar show that I detested, but he came across as such a gentleman and good old fashioned socialist (in the best sense) that I learned there's room for other people's tastes in the world.
