The Ali G film was amusing. Not sure which came first, but the Porridge film is brilliant. But beyond that, TV series rarely make good cinema.

The Partridge film last year was pretty bloody good. The Inbetweeners film was abysmal in comparison to the series

Mrs Brown's boys is as funny as hell, better than all that pretentious [Poor language removed] we have now that is as funny as sticking your dick in a blender.

A return to the sexist, religious (missing the racist but has the homophobic stuff) comedy of yester year.

What gets me is all the fuckwits who hate it commenting on it, i mean hell i dont go round making topics on Eastenders or holby city i pretend they dont exist but i have no issue about those that enjoy them.

You cant beat a bit of the pretentious im better than that comedy for the so called middle classes eh, well run along and enjoy your Numbered or Two Pints of Lager

I very rarely find common comedy funny, this is exactly that. It's just not funny.

Sums it up perfectly, it doesn't pretend to be anything other than harmless comedy. It doesn't take itself too seriously (leaving the outtakes in episodes)

I genuinely cannot work this post out. Is this tongue in cheek?

Because to suggest Two Pints of Lager is pretentious seems odd. Terrible, yes, but it's very much lowest common denominator television.
