Sounds like one of the most awful things in history. Can't believe they've managed to make a god awful TV show into a film

I'm ashamed of myself, more so for paying to watch it at the Cinema, I was swayed by the promise from my mrs that I could do things to her if I took her, as it turns out that went about as well as the movie.

Should have just went for a monkey fag in the pictures toilets and went home.

can't think of any tv series that made a good film, inbetweeners was probably the best of a bad bunch.
I don't find Mrs Brown funny in any way but Mrs Bilko finds it hilarious so I'm guessing I'll be dragged to it

Mrs Brown's Boys creator and star Brendan O'Carroll is planning two spin-off movies to follow the release of the big-screen transfer of his hit BBC comedy.
Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie opens in the UK on Friday, but O'Carroll is hoping the film won't mark his final appearance in cinemas. One of his spin-off ideas centres on a character named Mr Wang who will be introduced in the new movie, while another focuses on Agnes Brown's son, Rory, and his husband.
O'Carroll will play a salon owner named Mario in Wash and Blow, and he is planning to play Wang himself in the second film. The character was intended to be portrayed by 83-year-old Burt Kwouk, aka Pink Panther's Cato, in Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie. But when Kwouk pulled out due to illness, O'Carroll decided to play Wang as a white man.
"If you are going to take the piss out of a Chinese person, then you have to have someone Chinese," the actor old BBC News. "So I thought, 'I'll play the part of a guy who wants to be Chinese, who thinks he's Chinese, dresses like he's Chinese but all he does is deliver Chinese. And out of all that came Mr Wang." O'Carroll said Mrs Brown's sons Buster and Dermot would also feature as employees of Mr Wang's Detective Agency.
Mrs Brown's Boys first aired on TV in 2011 and has since won Bafta, Bafta Scotland and NTA awards. Its Christmas specials have topped ratings in the UK for two years in a row. However, critics have often been dismissive, and Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie has not been screened for reviewers.
The film's tagline reads: "A company tries to shut down Mrs Brown's fruit and veg stall. They can feck off."
