Everton manager David Moyes walked out at half-time of Blackburn's 2-1 to Bolton after being"disgusted" by the boos and chants aimed at Steve Kean.
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew also warned Rovers fans they are harming their team with their "vicious" attacks.
The League Managers' Association called the fans' reactions as "unacceptable".
Moyes said: "I was disgusted with how football supporters treated Steve and the only way I could show it was by leaving at half-time."
He added: "If they had supported their team as well as they shouted at their manager, then I think the team might have got a result in the game.
"Blackburn's not my club so I can't comment much on what the supporters think or how they feel, so it's not for me to say.
"As a human being I was there and I felt for another one."
WHAT???
Oh, sorry, misleading Title.
