I love playing West Ham at Goodison; great visitors when they are actually in our division.
I like them the same way I do as I like Fulham and Sunderland. When you’re struggling, team playing poorly, which happens regularly to us, you need that special ingredient of a team who have a worse away record at Goodison than we do v’s the rest of the division. The odd statistical anomaly aside, West Ham enjoy Goodison like we do when packing our overnight bags to our old place.
That new ground of theirs (or all of us taxpayers really) is a blueprint of how to lose any semblance of home advantage when moving ground. Been twice now, it’s bad. Thing is I don’t have to go there every other week! West Ham on a par with Everton? You’re having a Karius!
