Moyes Summer Transfer Plans

Big teams will sniff around our players every year knowing that we are now the football equivalent to that unemployed house mate, who sleeps on a mattress on the floor and uses a milk crate as a lamp-stand, who can be bought off with a tenner. And once the big clubs keep sniffing around, our squad will always be unsettled until the last hour of every transfer window.

Will he go? Will it give us money to buy? Is the bank up our ass? Can we buy him?

I think we all just believe that the next season surely can't be worse than the current. It's a cruel cycle and I've just learned to slap myself on the wrist every time I start getting optimistic.

I've enjoyed this season more than 10/11. We had a lot of optimism at the start that we'd kick on and challenge champions league. We fell flat.

This year everything went tits up at the start & we feared the worse. Then things got a lot better with the January signings. Minus the games against the Sh*te I think we've been pretty reasonable.

And dare I cause a riot (Hibbert style!) by saying, I think our quality of football has improved! a bit.

Last season we performed marginally better against the top teams. Didn't lose to the RS (compared to 0-3). Beat City twice (1-1 this season). Had a similar draw and loss with Man U. Beat and drew with Tottenham (1-1 this season). Drew with and beat Chelski (1-1 this season). Same old story with Arsenal, though.

And didn't it take us until October to win in the league last season?
