When Rooney was 15 years of age he was the best player at Everton Football club , when he was 17 he was the best player in the country , Ross Barkley is 17 now and already the best player at the football club and should be playing every week , but not playing wide right, playing a kid who's come back from an injury in his wrong position is ludicrous , Ross is that talented he can do a job there as he's proved in pre-season and the games against QPR and Sheff UTD, but the lad needs to be given a role in the team with less defensive duties like the Tim Cahill behind the striker role , only then will people see what he's really all about, two years from now this kid along with Jack Wilshere will have the whole country's expectations and we'll look back and say " we should have got more out of him before he left " because with Uncle Boys Penn Billy it's not a matter of if but when he's sold

Play him. We tried easing Rooney in & out of the squad & how did that turn out for us? He wants to play in the PL so he's got to learn to take the knocks and learn from his mistakes. Play him, make him a better player, and we'll get a better price which, in turn, means we pay more of our debt off.... grrrr.

Embarrassing management style....trying to look experienced/knowledgeable/doing the right thing by shielding the "young" player and underplaying him. Tried the same with Rooney and did Rooney's nut in. The beneficiary was Ferguson, got a well rested player and played him solidly from the off.

wayne could not wait to get away from moyes nelly, he hated him and still does to this day FACT 100 PER CENT

Should be playing regularly imo. He's over the injury, otherwise he wouldn't be able to play. We need our best players on the pitch and he's already one of our best players.

Well, well. Looks like our current situation of lack of creativity did have a response. Thank you Moyes for finally looking reality a bit in the face. Hope you stick to it.

I think moyes is doing exactly right with him. He started the first few games and then has been taken back out for this nightmare run of games. Starting these games could of been really confidence shattering for the lad.

As others have said, no doubt he will come back in a little more after this run is over but I don't expect to see loads of him till after Xmas.

I'm sure tho he will be our 30M player we could never afford to buy and luckily as moyes as said we are in a position now as a established top 8 team that we could keep a player of his ability.

I can't wait to see the team re shaped latter in the season. I think player/s will come in Jan also and with the likes of Barkley drenthe vellios guaye well.... It's not all doom and gloom guys!
