Speaking following Evertons 2-1 victory over Chelsea, manager David Moyes has cast doubt on Landon Donovans loan move becoming permanent.

Asked if Donovan would remain at Goodison, Moyes said: "I don't think so. We've said it would just be the loan. He has signed a new contract at the Galaxy so I don't think that would happen."

Moyes added: "That was Landon's best game for us, but I don't think we'll be able to keep him when his three-month loan expires unfortunately.

posturing???

I think DM has an undertone that if LD keeps playing like this than the ball will be in his court as to the release terms of his LA Galaxy/MLS contract.

He needs to stay, stay for years and cement his name on the back of that #9 shirt.

He didin't say 'there is no possible way' we can keep Donovan.

So, you say there's a chance? (cue seen of Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber):D
