David Moyes said on sky sports news it was unlikely we were going to sign anyone before the transfer window closes when initially our priority was a striker. On the eve of a cup game this lack of optimisum is the last thing we want to hear surely and why on earth does Bill Kenwright not come out and tell us "what is what" instead of listening to all these unwanted rumours. We need to know the truth

I've stopped questioning anything this club does, mate.

Kenwrong is a tool. The board are shameful. Moyes has been useless this season. Most of the players have been underperforming. We're in 14th, 23 games in. This season Everton's board, manager, players, chairman and even its fans have been utterly rubbish.

So... I'm just giving into it. I can't change anything (will a few scarves and some signs really change anything?) so I'm going to try and convince myself it's just men in shorts kicking a ball on some grass.

Hopefully we can knock Chelsea out of the cup tomorrow and salvage something from this miserable season, but I'm not holding my breath. Especially not for transfers.

It's times like these we need a real leader - someone who can come out and tell it like it is and offer a tonic for the troops.

Unfortunately, we have Bill Kenwright.

Yeah but we've got Pointy Phil and his pre-match soundbites!

Thats it then the season is over, transfers in nothing, a real kicking from Chelsea in the cup,I suppose the head lines on Sunday will read Moyes quits as Neville heads south. What a fn shambles this club has become.
