Its how we roll now dave there will be 3 months of torture ahead

I know mate. Criminal it is. If you knew the board were going to continue not to finance Everton (as it's done from day one) but that Moyes would be at least able to use all the money from player sales it would be almost tolerable. He wont get that cash though and the squad will be further weakened.

By the way, I read today that Everton's revenue from the PL went up by £7M+ this season (£50M from £43M).

The problem for moyes is every year he overachieves the board get away with their antics and nothing will happen unless we end up in the bottom 3.
I would actually love to know how and where we spend our money it can't all end up in the fat mincers black hole.

You'r dead right there - only a season or two of relegation worries would see them forced out and destroy their plans to make a huge profit from a sale.

The money goes mostly on wages I suppose....the second biggest black hole it goes down comes under "Other Operating Costs" in the club accounts, which has risen from an insignificant amount to £24M pa. Now, that umbrella term is not elaborated on, so it's left to the imagination to come up with what that could include. Matt Damon reckons it'll partly be down to Kenwright's scouting fees of £250K per month!. Whatever it is it's a handy term to brush a bit of dirt under.

So we spend 6 million a year on scouting and don't buy anyone, you know that sums the fat mincer up for me and i can actually believe that.

You can believe it based on a post with no evidence from the poster? Why?

I can believe it i know how slack our board are,one example of this was the dan gosling farce and there has been much much more, plus i think dave mentioned it was matt damon that had posted it and he is a reliable source

you seem to believe our board is competant without proof, why?

I don't believe they are competent or incompetent. I believe in the evidence put before me. "I can believe that" is not evidence, its prejudice. I believe that most Man City supporters are plastic fans, but I don't have any evidence, but hey, why should that stop a perfectly good story.

And while Gosling was a farce, re-signing Anichebe, Osman, Cahill, Arteta, Moyes etc wasn't. Wonder why you don't counter balance that with the one farce. This is why I won't succumb to your self serving hatred. I want to be free to criticise and praise and not be a tool for someone else's agenda.

Unfortunately for you, most of our fans won't either.

So go down that dark hole of hatred.

really? thats your justification? they re signed players, so they must be ok? i can honestly say thats the dumbest thing i have ever read. and as for hatred, i dont hate them, that involves a very negative emotion. i love this club, which is a positive emotion, i just know, deep down, that the current custodians are doing a poor job, and no amount of grammar will change that. just supporters showing how they feel. if you dont understand, you dont matter.

It's Moyes strong point. His ability to unearth great talent for little outlay. As long as he has money to buy a few players.
