Jags..class

Player Valuation: £70m
I'm going to miss Moyes gems

Incoming Manchester United manager David Moyes is set to follow up his interest in £5 million-rated Belgian youngster Bernard Malanda Adje, dubbed "the new Marouane Fellaini".

Moyes was tracking Adje while he was boss of Everton and was involved in a bidding war with Fulham for the player, who is currently at Belgian side Zulte Waregem.
However, following SportsDirect News' story that Moyes and made a pact with Everton chairman not to pursue Toffees Fellaini and Leighton Baines, sources have said that Moyes will resurrect a move for the player this summer.
"He is a quick, strong and athletic and is the missing link for United's midfield," said the source. "That's where United have suffered most in Europe in recent years

fellaini has to leave this summer if the price is right, didnt have a great second half to the season and under a new manager may throw his toys out the pram if were not doing well next season

Agree, he wants a bigger club, we need the money and can live without him, cant see Moyes spending 25 million on him tho, it will be strange watching Moyes who will have a much bigger pot to play with, will the dithering dave nickname ever be used by the man u fans in the future.

this the same sportsdirectnews that said Newcastle were after rooney, then stated that the claim was false and took the article down?!

this could read 'Moyes looks round for cheap option after missing out on Fellaini'. maybe it would if he was still here. I don't think Fellaini will go anywhere this year. makes little sense if he wants to stay in public eye before world cup and a new manager unlikely to sell an international before he has a good look at him. 25 mill could be well spent or could add up to a couple of Billys. Would rather have one of our key players till its impossible to keep him. A bidding war with Fulham doesn't mean this guy is going to be first choice anywhere for awhile

Just reading about this lad. How is he dubbed the new Fellaini? He's 5'11 and stocky, and plays in defence. Fulham were heavily linked with him in January. If Moyes liked him so much why not buy him instead of trying to get Fer?

Do people really think that Moyes goes out and scouts these players himself? I'm actually looking forward to a new manager bringing in some players who can actually run, at pace!

He won't sign for Manchester United, he's 18 and had one good season in the Belgian League.

Im not sure Fellaini could be classed as a "gem". We paid 15M for him and he wasnt an unknown he was a proven international player already.

Coleman I would class as a gem.

It worked for Chelsea and Lukaku.

and Courtois

anyway Malanda wasnt that great anyway. He showed glipses of potential but needs one or 2 more years to develop in Belgium. Physically he is impressive 5'11'' 200 pounds almost no bodyfat
